Seán Óg has all the answers
SEÁN Óg, one of the newest sensations on the Irish music scene, is Killarney bound this week as he continues to promote his latest single The Answer.
The talented young musician, from Miltown Malbay in Clare, will perform with his band at the KDYS Centre in Killarney this Friday night, July 30, at 8pm.
Seán Óg’s debut single, I Still Love You Without Your Car, was released in May 2010 and shot to the number one slot on the Irish iTunes chart.
The song received play on radio stations across Ireland as well as in Europe and the US while the music video, which showcased Sharon Shannon's amazing singing and musical instrumentplaying dogs, instantly became a YouTube sensation.
The talented young musician recently released his follow-up single, The Answer which has also become a Top 20 hit on the Irish charts as well as the number one the iTunes Irish charts.
The Killarney gig is part of a nationwide summer tour, with a portion of the proceeds being donated towards brain cancer research.
Seán was born into a family of musicians. By the age of 14 he was an accomplished musician and lead singer for the band The Tides.
Between tour dates Seán will be in the studio recording additional songs for his debut album which will be released late this year.
