Par-Tee the night away in Killarney

TEE off the Irish Open in Killarney with a party that lasts the entire August bank holiday weekend.

Par-Tee at the INEC, which is being staged in conjunction with the 3 Irish Open, will run at the Killarney venue from this Wednesday, July 28 until Sunday, August 1 with a great line up of entertainment.

Rivalling the action on the greens, the Par-Tee features the cream of Irish music including Sharon Shannon, Mundy, The Hothouse Flowers and The High Kings, all lined up to keep the festive atmosphere going late into the night. There’s live entertainment followed by late night dancing to RTE Radio DJ Les Vickers every night, kicking off with the official welcome night on Wednesday, July 28.

The Hothouse Flowers perform on Friday, July 30, with the original trio of singer Liam Ó Maonlaí, Peter O’Toole on bass and Fiachna Ó Braonain on guitar alongside Irish drummer David Clarke.

The High Kings will bring their rousing acoustic flavour to ballads old and new on Saturday, July 31.

Sharon Shannon along with special guest, Mundy will bring the festival to a close with energetic anthems such as Galway Girl and Blackbird at the official wrap party on Sunday, August 1.

Tickets for all gigs are on sale now from the INEC box office and Ticketmaster. Special accommodation packages with INEC tickets included are also available.
