Kenmare event hailed a big success

ON behalf of the trustees and all the families under the wing of the Jack and Jull Children’s Foundation, I would like to thank The Kingdom, most sincerely, for kindly sponsoring the Jack and Jill Run Up The Hill charity 10k event in Kenmare.

We now have over 320 babies and their families under our wing and they come from every county in Ireland – including nine in Kerry – at an annual cost of €66,000 and we are taking in new referrals every week. Since the foundation was set up in 1997, we have brought succour to over 1,200 children and their families.

The amazing effort from everybody involved in the Kenmare event, particularly the participants, has greatly helped to raise funds that are essential to the foundation and all our families.

This year, we are delighted to reveal, the 10k event in Kenmare raised a wonderful €23,993.50.

Once again thanks to The Kingdom management and staff for the continued support in making this much-loved event such a success.

Thanks also to the men, women and children of Kerry who supported the event in such great numbers. It is very much appreciated.
