Little roses bloom at the Carlton
THE Carlton Hotel in Tralee will play host to some mini Roses and their escorts over the coming weeks as part of a major new initiative.
The new Carlton Rose package offers two nights bed and breakfast and one dinner for €130 per adult sharing with up to two kids going free right through until August 13 – but even better is the fact that it offers a chance to return in time for the Rose of Tralee festival.
Every boy and girl, aged four to 12, who stays at the hotel on this package deal will automatically be entered into a free draw and be in with a chance of winning a VIP stay for a family of four at the Carlton Hotel in Tralee for one night during the Rose of Tralee Festival.
The winning child will also participate on one of the floats in the Rose of Tralee parade which passes through the streets of Tralee on Saturday August 21.
They will also receive a special gift from the current Rose of Tralee Charmaine Kenny and get to meet this year’s Roses and escorts.
The VIP day will be nicely finished off with a complimentary stay for the family on the Saturday night, including dinner at the hotel’s Morels Restaurant, luxurious overnight accommodation in one of the hotel’s family rooms and breakfast the next morning.
The fun will continue the next day with the family enjoying free entry to the Aqua Dome – Ireland’s largest indoor water-world – free entry to Toby World and, to round the day off nicely, a free family pass to the fascinating Crag Cave in Castleisland.
The free draw for the prize will take place on Saturday, August 14 and winners will be notified by phone.
